Terms of Service
Last updated: April 7, 2026
These terms apply to your use of FitCalc, located at fitcalc.dev. By using any part of the site, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
This Is Not Medical Advice
FitCalc provides health and fitness calculators for general informational and educational purposes. The results from our tools -- including BMI scores, TDEE estimates, calorie targets, macro breakdowns, body fat estimates, ideal weight ranges, heart rate zones, and due date projections -- are based on widely used formulas and population-level averages. They are not personalized medical assessments.
You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional, registered dietitian, or certified fitness expert before making changes to your diet, exercise routine, or health regimen. Our calculators cannot account for individual medical conditions, medications, injuries, genetic factors, pregnancy complications, or other personal health variables that a trained professional would consider.
Do not use FitCalc results to self-diagnose, self-treat, or replace professional medical guidance. If you are pregnant, the due date calculator provides an estimate only -- your obstetrician or midwife should be your primary source of information about your pregnancy timeline.
What FitCalc Provides
FitCalc offers 12 browser-based health and fitness calculators covering body composition, nutrition planning, exercise performance, and wellness tracking. These tools apply established formulas (such as Mifflin-St Jeor for TDEE, Epley for one-rep max, and Karvonen for heart rate zones) to the inputs you provide and return calculated results.
All calculations happen in your browser using JavaScript. We do not process your health data on any server. The formulas we use are documented and widely recognized, but they produce estimates, not clinical measurements.
Accuracy of Results
Fitness and nutrition calculations involve inherent variability. Two people with identical height, weight, and age can have meaningfully different caloric needs based on muscle mass, hormonal profile, sleep quality, stress, and dozens of other factors that a calculator cannot measure.
Our tools give you a reasonable starting point. They are useful for general planning and goal setting. They are not a substitute for lab work, DEXA scans, metabolic testing, or hands-on assessment by a professional. We recommend treating FitCalc results as approximate benchmarks rather than precise targets.
